Harper Nichols is an artist from Birmingham, Alabama, whose practice centers around exploring the dynamic relationship between controlled environments and the natural world. While much of her work is studio-based, her inspiration is deeply rooted in the Southern landscapes that she grew up around. Nichols earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2022, where she honed her technical skills in photography. After graduating, Nichols relocated to Athens, Georgia, where she is currently pursuing her Master of Fine Arts at the University of Georgia.
